I’m hoping the adoption of web extensions in Safari means someday @1Password X support. Fact 1Password can’t differentiate between Safari and Safari Tech Preview still is drag.

Hey Michael, a bit of news for you regarding 1Password X & Safari here: blog.1password.com/wwdc-2020-at-h… 1Password should connect to your default browser, so if you make Safari Tech Preview your default it’ll open there. 🙂

it doesn’t work that way. If I set another browser as my default(or a browser switcher app in my case), and trigger the global shortcut while in STP, it opens Safari. Always has. I’ll check the link. thanks.

You’re welcome Michael. Are you running STP on Catalina or Big Sur?

Catalina. My poor old 11” Air isn’t Big Sur approved hardware 🙂

no, the issue I’m having isn’t related to not working. For as long as STP has been around, if it’s not the default browser in macOS, and you trigger the global shortcut for 1Password, it opens Safari. No deal breakers, I’ve lived with it for quite some time.
