July was brutal to me on many fronts, but probably none more so than to come to the realization I’m really not good at building things for the web. Consider this the start of a draft for a long goodbye and return to analog/physical production. Y’all are amazing.
That’s kind. I don’t believe I know how. I’m not going full rage quit, just move on.
@miklb relate to this 100%, planning my escape from IT and web work but realistically will take 5 or so years to transition (to getting paid for “analog” creations). What will you be creating?
most likely food in some form.
I certainly value what you have shared and contributed, but bottom line do what makes you happy and healthy.
Really it just comes down to I can’t financially hang onto the dream any longer, so time to course correct. So thinking out loud & tying up loose ends.
You’ve been an inspiration for me with all you’ve shared. Maybe don’t give up, but scale back?
