I’m pretty good at budgeting time for unexpected issues in a project, but what I suck at is budgeting time for the unanticipated. Like when your washing machine dies on a Friday afternoon.
That’s worse. But in last 2 weeks, oven, now washing machine, I might as well start shopping for a new fridge too.
That sucks. Though it also says you are a professional in your projects because you anticipate that things will go wrong (which is always the case, of course).
running professional kitchens where there was no such thing as pushing back a deadline can do that for you.
ugh, feel you. getting our life together after lightning strike fried everything has been a 3-day affair.
