biggest mistake i see with freemium apps is they force you to login to get started. let me experience your mindlfulness app for a day or two before i have to create a password.
@colinwalker my personal favorite are the ones that don’t even offer email/password & expect you to use FB.
@miklb Or Twitter. I guess it’s easier for them to piggy back off someone else’s identity system than create their own but it means us silo-quitters are left out in the cold.
@colinwalker yep, and the revelations what FB does with your data hasn’t seemed to slow anyone down, so definitely out in cold, or hampered by a poor on boarding experience.
@miklb I couldn’t agree more. And they lose a potential customer because of it. If I can’t try an app as a guest it gets uninstalled.
